Peter Collyer

Peter has enjoyed a varied career working with a diverse range of groups and ensembles from the Academy of Ancient Music to the Spice Girls, via west-end musicals and symphony orchestras. He was a member of the English Baroque Soloists for ten years and has played with all the leading period instrument orchestras in London.

As well as being a member of La Serenissima, Peter is principal viola with the London Handel Orchestra and the New London Consort, violist with the London Handel Players, and is Head of Performance Studies and Early Music Studies at the University of Southampton.
