La Serenissima performed to enthusiastic audiences in the North West last month, playing for the first time in Liverpool’s fantastic purpose-built concert hall, The Tung Auditorium and returning to Cartmel Priory & the home of sticky toffee pudding. We received a warm welcome and were also able to enjoy some beautiful weather & walking on this trip too.
We had some wonderful feedback from our audience:“We thoroughly enjoyed the concert, La Serenissima played exceptionally well and everyone looked like they were really enjoying their music.””We have to say La Serenissima were absolutely brilliant. They played perfectly together.”
Concerts coming up:
7:30pm 19 October St Martin-in-the-Fields Crossing Borders
Music by Brescianello, Sieber, Schreyfogel, Telemann & Vivaldi featuring Katy Bircher (flute) & Tabea Debus (recorder)
7:30pm 11 December Wigmore Hall The Four Seasons

Adrian and Camilla particularly wish to thank all those who responded to the August newsletter appeal for donations. We’re so grateful for the support we have received for the group’s Italian harpsichord commission & forthcoming recording, Crossing Borders. We would particularly like to thank John Osborn CBE for generously sponsoring this album.
La Serenissima was also fortunate enough to be receive a grant for Crossing Borders in Continuo Foundation’s latest funding round. You can see all of the grantees and their upcoming projects on Continuo Foundation’s new platform Continuo Connect.
The new album, featuring the second half of Brescianello’s Op. 1 is out on 27th October. If you can’t wait that long, you can already listen to the first two singles and pre-save the album here. Congratulations again to Nigel who won our competition to win an advanced copy of the CD.
